Op 2 januari zat ik ''s ochtends vroeg klaar om de lijst te kunnen bekijken. Gelukkig was ik er vroeg bij, want ik kon al een paar dagen later de dossiers komen bekijken die ik gereserveerd had. Het bezoek maakte veel emoties bij me los. Ik raakte zo nu en dan echt geïrriteerd. Er bleken dossiers van familieleden kwijt te zijn. Daarnaast is het gewoon heel erg pijnlijk dat het NA zo slecht heeft gecommuniceerd dat het niet uitsluitend om collaborateurs gaat. Al mijn familieleden bleken getuige te zijn geweest of ten onrechte te zijn onderzocht. Van de 8 dossiers bleek niemand te hebben gecollaboreerd, laat staan te zijn veroordeeld. Van 1 familielid bleek geen eens een dossier te bestaan, maar hij werd wel op de website genoemd. Na afloop adviseerde de vriendelijke medewerkster achter de balie me om een verzoek in te dienen om deze naam van de website te laten verwijderen. Dit deed ik meteen en het duurde ongeveer 2 weken tot ik een reactie kreeg. De boodschap was gelukkig positief: men had besloten de naam te verwijderen aangezien er inderdaad helemaal geen dossier van mijn (nota bene ondergedoken) familielid bestond. Door dit besluit en de manier waarop de medewerkster me te woord stond, zal ik nu niet 1 maar 3 sterren geven. De medewerkers die alle dossiers klaarzetten kunnen echter een cursusje ''vriendelijk omgaan met bezoekers'' gebruiken. Ze konden nogal bot reageren als ik weer eens aan de balie stond met de mededeling dat er een dossier niet in de doos zat. Alsof ik er iets aan kan doen dat het NA er zo''n ongelooflijke bende van heeft gemaakt. Wat ik trouwens wel heel fijn vond, is dat je tijdens je bezoek nog meer dossiers kunt opvragen. Tijdens het lezen van de dossiers kwam ik namelijk namen tegen waar ik meer over wilde weten. Die kon ik direct opvragen en een half uur later stonden ze voor me klaar.
