It''s located in the psychology faculty building on the Bio Bio University campus. Admission is free, and the people who greet you will give you a pleasant and passionate tour. They possess extensive knowledge of the life, history, artistic expression, creativity, and work of Marta Colvin, an illustrious Chilean sculptor whose artistic and educational vision was far ahead of her time—a worthy example of what a human being can achieve when they develop and express their passions.

If anyone is looking for inspiration, this is the place. There you''ll find a selection of the work of this exceptional woman, who (with all due respect), like many prodigies, had to shine outside her homeland before achieving local recognition.

||
|
||
Her talent was recognized in 1965 when she won the International Grand Prize for Sculpture with one of her monumental stone works, which is currently on display at the Open Air Sculpture Museum in Middelheim, Belgium.

||

||

Marta Colvin is a testament to the audacity and tenacity of Chilean women.
|
||
