text: Hidden gem but absolutely worth it. I was the only one visiting on a Sunday afternoon but it deserves so much more visitors. Audio guide is included and also available in English and Dutch. They have UNESCO world heritagein their collection (since 2023), namely the stunning Ada Manuscript.

text: My husband and I stumbled across this place accidentally while looking for the Roman Baths (kaisertherman). The staff was incredibly kind and they gave us English audio guides to view the books they have in their collection. I was ecstatic to see a Gutenberg bible in person! They also had Cornelli Globes and a book written by Venerable Bede on the calculation of time. This museum isn't for everyone but if you like the history of the written word this museum has some beautiful examples!
