text: لا زلنا نعاني في منطقة سطح مرحبا المربع المحيط بسوبرماركت الشلة وفلفلة وحتى مسجد الخلفاء من امتلاء حاويات القمامة وتراكمها وتمزيقها من الكلاب الضالة المنتشرة بالمنطقة وكذلك من فتح المقاهي التي تجذب المنفلتين من منطقة كفر عقب والسهر حتى الفجر والزعيق والتفحيط واعتداء اصحاب المحلات التجارية في المنطقة على الارصفة وكل ذلك تحت سمع وبصر بلدية البيرة وقدمت شكاوي عديدة للبلدية وواضح ان هناك موظفين متنفذين في البلدية يغطون على ذلك وكذلك هناك تطنيش من المجلس البلدي واعضاء البلدية لان اهتمامهم بالبيرة الاساسية وهذه المنطقة اعتبروها كفر عقب للاسف

text: البيرة مدينة فلسطينية، ومركز محافظة رام الله والبيرة. تقع في الضفة الغربية إلى الشمال من القدس بحوالي 15 كم. تبلغ مساحتها 22045 دونم (22.045 كم2)، كما يقدر عدد سكانها بحوالي 80000 نسمة، بينما يقدر عدد سكان المحافظة بحوالي 301,296 نسمة.[3]، وترتفع عن سطح البحر 885 متراً. تقع مستعمرة بسغوت على جبل الطويل إلى الجانب الشرقي من المدينة. يوجد في المدينة مكتبة عامة تحوي فيما يقارب الخمسين ألف كتاب. تحتل البيرة حاليا مركزا سياسيا يجعلها من أهم المدن الفلسطينية، إذ أنها تُعتبر العاصمة الإدارية المؤقتة للسلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية، وفيها مقر المقاطعة (القصر الرئاسي)، والمقر العام لجهاز الأمن الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية، بالإضافة إلى معظم مكاتب ووزارات السلطة، كما تعتبر العاصمة الثقافية لوجود عدد من المراكز الثقافية الفلسطينية النشطة فيها.
