||
All you need is your university email address and your university ID card to obtain a guest electronic pass to access the majestic reading room, they will give you a numbered key to store your belongings in the cloakroom and you can access the reading room for the day.

||
|
||
There is also a caffe where you can take a break. Fantastic!

The reading room is so cozy, a classic and old style. I like it!

Smells very stuffy inside, it looks cool but that's about it. It is a very complicated process to go inside.
|
||
You need to book reservations way in advance, and then you need to get special keys, go downstairs for lockers, go back upstairs, and they don't even let your backpack inside!! I tried to study there once, but there were so many barriers to entry that I just gave up. The person at the front desk didn't even speak English. It's ridiculous that you can't even bring a backpack. I understand why they would want the jackets on a locker, but why can't I bring the things I need to study????

I was told to bring my 2 notebooks, my laptop, charger, a text book, a binder and some loose paper sheets, pens and pencils all in my hands. How am I supposed to carry all of that in and out, go down the stairs, put it all inside the tiny locker they force you to use, go up the stairs again, and then do that all over again every single time I need to pee?
|

I was treated terribly, the people were very unkind. I explained it was my first time and I was given no instructions on how any of this works, they just didn't care and were unbothered to help.
|
||
At the end of the day this is just a nice building that smells bad and is only nice in photos. Never going again. I am ashamed to say I study at the University who treats its own students and their spaces like this.
