Positive:

||
- Lots of children's books.
|
||
- The volunteers who work there are very helpful and friendly.
|
||
(However, the permanent staff... let's just say you have to be lucky to get friendly service.)
|
||
|
||
Negative: Poor opening hours in general, and it's still closed. Why isn't it open all day every weekday for such a large municipality?
|
||
And why is it still closed (supposedly because of COVID-19), while libraries in other similar municipalities (or even larger ones like Leuven) can open without any problems?
|
||
A library can be an excellent meeting place for residents; there's so much more that could be done with this library.

Difficult to access for people who have difficulty walking (temporarily) but don't have a disability permit. This applies to the entire building: town hall, library, police station, etc.

Nice library. Friendly staff.

But the DVD section is a mess. If you want a specific movie starting with the letter A, for example, you have to search through 150 other movies starting with A, in random order,
|
||
without any system.
|
||
So if you compile a list of 5 movies online at home, it'll easily take you 45 minutes, which normally wouldn't take 5 minutes.
|
||

Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
