text: Very sympathetic museum featuring local history, way of life and art in and around Biel. Presently, in April of

2025, besides the permanent stuff, there is an exhibition of paintings of women and more exciting, at least for me,
|
||
a corner of the building where the last surviving analogue animated film producer, Carlo Piaget, presents his activity
|
||
in real, on site, demonstrating all his techniques in detail, for the visitors. This is really impressive and I just
|
||
wonder why there are no apprentices willing to learn this art form. The staff is very helpful and will come to assist
|
||
you if you are interested in visiting a typical upper class apartment from the 19th century. The café is best for drinks;
|
||
what is on offer to eat is all under plastic wrap. The small shop has some interesting relevant literature to offer.
