afgesproken en werden hartelijk ontvangen met koffie/thee en een oranjekoek.

||
|
||
Wij hebben een film bekeken en kregen daarna een rondleiding over het terrein.
|
||
|
||
Dit alles gaf een goede indruk van het leven toen.
|
||
|
||
Ik vond het leerzaam en zeker een aanrader om te bezoeken. Ook met kinderen
|
||
zodat ze kunnen zien dat het nu zo slecht nog niet is :-)'

de veenwerkerskolonie Nij Beets rond 1900. De kleine veenwerkershuisjes, de
|

''supermarkt'' waar de veenarbeiders verplicht boodschappen moesten doen. Een
|
||
kroeg waar eigenlijk geen alcohol geschonken mocht worden. Het houten kerkje
|
||
en op het veldje erachter alles over het turf steken.
|
||
|
||
|
||
Het museum gaat per oktober dicht om volgend jaar mei weer open te gaan.'
