text: Een klein maar een leuke en leerzame museum. Wel heb ik wat tips aan het

||
museum. We kwamen met de hoop om ook iets te kunnen maken met de klei. Dat zal
|
||
extra leuk zijn voor de bezoekers en zal meer mensen aantrekken. Ook zou het
|
||
prettiger zijn als bij elk keramische werk erbij staat wat ontwerper er mee
|
||
bedoelde. Voor de rest prima. Gratis parkeergelegenheid. Museumkaart is geldig.
|
||
En je mag gratis gebruik maken van een lekker kopje koffie.

text: Dit museum was het bekende schot in de roos. Totaal onbekend met keramiek
|
||
stond dit museum vandaag op de planning en daar hebben we absoluut geen spijt
|
||
van gehad. Nieuwsgierig waren we wel, dat moet gezegd worden. We houden van
|
||
door mensenhanden gemaakte voorwerpen. Ook het contrast tussen oud en modern
|
||
spreekt aan net als techniek, kleur en geschiedenis. Dus alle ingredienten komen
|
||
hier wel bijeen. Allereerst al het prachtige pand, de Tiendschuur. De ligging,
|
||
de gerestaureerde staat, en binnen de mooie verlichting spreken ons erg aan.
|
||
De mensen aan de balie zijn uiterst aardig, oprecht enthousiast en leggen je
|
||
uit waar je moet zijn om alles goed op je in te laten werken en te zien. Zoals
|
||
ook de koffiehoek met gratis diverse koffiesoorten. Superleuk detail hier is
|
||
dat je een handgemaakte keramieke mok mag uitzoeken om je koffie uit te drinken.
|
||
We besluiten eerst de prachtige verzameling in deze koffiehoek te bekijken en
|
||
daarna hier terug te komen voor "ein tas koffie'. Toevallig lopen we hier Niek
|
||
Hoogland al tegen het lijf waarover later meer. Daarna wordt je met talrijke
|
||
infobordjes ingewijd in de wereld van de keramiek. De vele soorten klei, de
|
||
manieren van bakken, de kleuren, toen en nu. Groot, klein, serieus, grappig
|
||
en vooral leerzaam. Nooit geweten hoe Tegelen aan de naam is gekomen maar nu
|
||
we van Tegulae hebben gelezen weten wel beter. Ook nooit geweten dat Tegeln
|
||
zo ontzettend veel industrie heeft gekend op keramiekgebied. Prachtig allemaal.
|
||
Net zoals de schitterende expositie van Niek Hoogland op de 1e verdieping. Terwijl
|
||
hij een interview geeft lopen wij langs al zijn getentoonstelde werken. Je ziet
|
||
dat hier een meester aan het werk is geweest. De vormen, de thema's, de kleuren,
|
||
de technieken maar vooral ook de humor. Je hoeft geen kenner te zijn om dit
|
||
alles te waarderen. Niek, super gedaon jông! Mooge trots op zeen. En dan via
|
||
het trapje naar de koffiehoek. Daar zitten aardig wat jongeren die zelf de handjes
|
||
uit de mouwen gaan steken op de diverse draaischijven. Leuk om te zien dat het
|
||
ambacht nog steeds leeft onder de jongere generatie. We pakken onze koffie en
|
||
praten ook daarna nog lang na over wat we hier ervaren hebben. Ja, het was een
|
||
prachtige ervaring welke we eenieder willen aanraden.
