text: Eiland museum Jan Lont is een mooi en interessant museum en zeker een bezoek waard. Het verteld een stukje geschiedenis
|
||
over de woonplaats, boerderij en de persoon Jan Lont. We werden door een bijzonder vriendelijke dame rondgeleid door
|
||
het museum. Zij wist veel van het museum en de collectie af en had de bewoner van de boerderij -Jan Lont- nog persoonlijk
|
||
meegemaakt. Het museum en de collectie zijn keurig netjes onderhouden en de verblijfsruimte waar je een kaartje moest
|
||
kopen ook. Zeer aanbevelingswaardig om een bezoek te brengen, veel respect voor de vrijwilligers van de museum stichting.

Zeer informatief over het eiland Wieringen dat nu sinds 100 jaar is ingepolderd. De Wieringer beschouwen zich nog steeds als eiland bewoners in de saaie polder. Ze gaan nog altijd naar "Het eiland " als ze naar huis terug keren.

Een oude boerderij in oude staat verwerd tot museum boerderij waar de eiland historie levend word gehouden

text: Wat leuk om hier uitgebreid rondgeleid te worden. We zijn gastvrij ontvangen met koffie en hebben met z'n 4-en echt

genoten . Kleinschalig, heel goed onderhouden en leuk elk jaar wisselende tentoonstelling van verzamelingen van dorpsbewoners.
|
||
De omgeving is prachtig om te wandelen en fietsen. Ook het pad langs de Waddenzee is prachtig.
