text: Heel leuk om vervoerd te worden zoals dit in de jaren 30 van vorige eeuw gebruikelijk was. Een niet te lange rit

van Hoorn naar Medemblik waar met de boot naar Enkhuizen kan worden gevaren en dan met de NS weer naar Hoorn als daar

de auto staat, of de retour trein naar Hoorn uiteraard. Na aankomst in Medemblik is de tijd om een hapje te doen en
|
||
nog wat rond te wandelen in Medemblik wel wat te beperkt zeker als er maar 1 tram rijdt. Het materiaal ziet er prima
|
||
verzorgd uit en de vrijwilligers willen graag wat vertellen over het reilen en zeilen van de museumbaan. Tijdens de
|
||
rit is er een stop van 20 minuten kort na vertrek uit Hoorn en (op de terug weg) kort voor Hoorn bij een in de oude
|
||
staat teruggebracht stationnetje. Koffie, thee, frisdrank, appeltaart en zelfs poffertjes zijn te verkrijgen tijdens
|
||
de rit in het buffet rijtuig. Tip van Flip kies vooral voor de 2e klas rijtuigen want 3e klas betekent harde houten
|
||
bankjes en dat zit niet zo comfortabel tenzij je echt de harde werkelijkheid van de 30er jaren wil ervaren. Met gebruik
|
||
van de VriendenLoterij vip kaart is het retourtje zelfs gratis.

Een ritje met deze trein is zeker de moeite waard. Er worden wagons uit de jaren 30 gebruikt. Daarnaast rijdt er ook een buffetwagen mee. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en geeft veel uitleg. Tijdens het verblijf in Medemblik kan zelfs de locomotief van binnen worden bekeken. In Hoorn is het de moeite waard om nog even een bezoek te brengen aan het kleine spoorwegmuseum in de buurt van het treinstation.

Eine Fahrt mit dieser Bahn lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Es werden Wagen aus den 1930er Jahren eingesetzt. Zudem fährt ein Buffetwagen mit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und erklärt viel. Beim Aufenthalt in Medemblik kann sogar die Lok von innen besichtigt werden. In Hoorn lohnt sich abschließend noch ein Besuch des kleinen Eisenbahnmuseum in der Nähe des Bahnhofs.

over hoe het vroeger ging. Ontzettend leuk! Wij hebben de rit naar Wognum gemaakt, dit duurde 2 uur bij elkaar wat mooi

genoeg was voor de kinderen. Bij de tussenstop in Wognum kon je leuke oud hollandse buiten spelletjes doen en ook op

||
de foto in oude kleding van die tijd. De werkplaats is ook leuk om even te zien.
