All the facades are covered with semi- transparent windows that don''t let in natural light. The result is that from

||
the moment you enter you don''t really feel time passing over the day. The only colours are black and white, as if the
|
||
only thing students should put their eyes on is their screen.
|
||
|
||
So many empty spaces and yet no such thing as a chill area where you can relax on a sofa for 5 minutes. Only uncomfortable
|
||
red boxes in the middle of hallways. Overall the atmosphere is quite cold and personally a bit depressing too. If I
|
||
can, I just go to other study areas in the campus.
|
||
|
||
|
||
Then there is this odd pattern of bamboo on the windows which makes no sense to me, it is the same repeated over and
|
||
over, even on the cement walls.'

however the security not accept to let my friend to see the library. it would be just 10 minutes just seeing around,

which could have been used for more tables. During exam weeks its very crowded and going there very early is recommended!

text: 'Great library of a great architect. Spatially stunning with the downside that it has limited seating in the school

||
season which really is a problem. It would be a good discussion if it is still a good building if one of its most important
|
||
practical demands (seating) is not made. Ventilation is good during the hot summers and there''s adecemical quiteness.

||

||
People from all over the world are coming to this library to see it. Thank you Wiel Arets for inspiring an architecture
|
||
student who studies here a lot.'
