    text: Zeggen dat het een kindvriendelijk museum is, is eigenlijk niets zeggen.
      Ondanks de stromende regen mochten we een bijzonder avontuur beleven. We kregen
      een leuke puzzel met de gids, die vertelde over de beestjes die in het water
      leven. Daarna gingen we die beestjes zelf vangen, met extra uitleg en verhalen
      van de gids. Fantastisch, een echte aanrader! Oh ja, de medewerkers gaven ons
      nog een extra regenjas en een petje, omdat we er eentje te weinig hadden.

    text: 'Terra Maris is een prachtig museum met hele leuke en leerzame gidsentochten.
      Wij deden zowel het museumbezoek als een jutterswandeling, en beide waren geweldig
      – ook voor jonge kinderen.


      Het museum zelf is netjes ingericht, overzichtelijk en zeer educatief. Vooral
      de combinatie van natuur en geschiedenis maakt het bijzonder. De omliggende
      landschapstuin (de "Paleistuin" in Engelse stijl)  is schitterend, en de rijke
      geschiedenis van het gebied maakt indruk. De eeuwenoude eikenbomen, van wel
      200 tot 300 jaar oud, lijken net bonsaiboompjes – echt fascinerend om te zien.


      De gids (haar naam zijn we helaas vergeten), een vriendelijke oudere dame, vertelde
      vol enthousiasme over het gebied en zijn oorsprong. Tijdens de tocht naar het
      strand gingen we op zoek naar ‘schatten van de zee’, wat op een leuke en toegankelijke
      manier werd uitgelegd. De kinderen hingen aan haar lippen – educatief én boeiend!


      Als we weer in de buurt zijn, komen we zeker terug naar dit bijzondere museum
      en de prachtige omgeving. Een absolute aanrader!'

      boekwinkel en bar/terras. Bijzonder is de fraaie heemtuin met locale flora en
