The museum is a great historical and cultural amenity in the heart of Valparaiso. We visited on a weekday and the museum was busy with school groups, along with a sprinkling of individuals like ourselves.
|
||
The exhibitions are well curated, include numerous interactive expositions and impressive specimens of tue flora, fauna and marine life of Chile.

text: Great museum to learn more about the Chilean natural history and current situation. The permanent collection of

||
taxidermy is matched with new modern infographs that look really good and give a lot of information. Only improvement
|
||
that can be made is adding English translation is some way. Note that nowadays the museum closes early, at 5 o’clock
|
||
due to the current situation in Chile.

A nice free museum with lots of small exhibits showcasing many native species of Chile. The "submarine" exhibit was a nice touch plus the small room showcasing skulls of some Chilean animals was also cool.
