kon ik er weer heen. Gelukkig waren er weinig bezoekers en kon ik bijna alleen

even het schip op. De dekken waren pas gelegd en je kon via provesorische
|
||
trappen helemaal naar beneden. Na elke trap werd het stiller, benauwder en
|
||
donkerder. En opeens rook ik 1627, proefde ik 1627, voelde ik 1627 en ik was
|
||
thuis. Ik heb een kwartier staan huilen, diep ontroerd, want ik kende dit,
|
||
deze geur, hoe het hout voelde, de lucht in het schip. Een onvergetelijk moment
|
||
voor mij want ontroering verzin je niet... Hopelijk blijft dit schip bestaan,
|
||
een klein poortje naar lang vervlogen tijden, geuren en kleuren.
