\ vertelt het verhaal van de manipulatie van de Duitse jeugd.\n\nContrast\nIn de tentoonstelling stapt u in de belevingswereld\

\ van Duitse (niet-Joodse) kinderen in die tijd. U ziet de beeldpropaganda in de omgeving waarin ze toen ook te zien\

||
\ was: thuis, op straat en in de klas. En ontdekt dat het hakenkruis voor kinderen meer was dan een logo op een vlag:\

||
\ het was voor hun het symbool van een welvarende en hoopvolle toekomst na jaren van depressie. Het contrast tussen\
|
||

\ democratische samenleving, maar ook in onze vrije wereld is het belangrijk elke vorm van media kritisch te beoordelen.\

\ Met de tentoonstelling ‘Nazipropaganda voor de jeugd, 1933 – 1945’ legt het Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum de mechanismen\

\ van manipulatie en beïnvloeding van de jeugd bloot. In het educatieve programma bij de tentoonstelling leggen we parallellen\

\ met de actualiteit en ontdekken leerlingen welke waarden ten grondslag liggen aan een vrije, democratische samenleving.\

\ \n\nUnieke samenwerking\nMeer dan 300 illustraties, afkomstig uit schoolboeken, prentenboeken, wandkaarten, schoolplaten,\
|
||
\ dagboeken, sigarettenplaatjes-albums en jeugdliteratuur, vormen de basis voor de tentoonstelling. Aangevuld met tientallen\
|
||
\ originele foto’s van scholieren en jongeren in jeugdorganisaties. Voor het eerst wordt de unieke collectie van Gerard\

\ Groeneveld (auteur van Hitlers jongste hoop) in een museum getoond, gecomplementeerd met collectie van Universität\

\ In het lesprogramma ‘Beeld en Boodschap’ krijgen uw leerlingen gereedschap om beeld kritisch te lezen. In een voorbereidende\

\ les op school ontdekken leerlingen de grote hoeveelheid beeld in hun eigen omgeving. Ze ontdekken het verschil tussen\
|
||
\ reclame en propaganda en leren hoe ze stapsgewijs de boodschap áchter het beeld kunnen ontdekken. \n\nProgramma\
|
||
\ opzet\nDe voorbereidende les op school wordt gevolgd door een les in het Nationaal Onderwijsmuseum met een bezoek\
|
||
\ aan de tentoonstelling. U kunt er echter ook voor kiezen om die les bij u op school plaats te laten vinden; de leerlingen\
|
||
\ ontvangen dezelfde lesstof en krijgen daarbij een interactieve virtual reality-demonstratie te zien die de boodschap\
|
||
\ van de tentoonstelling duidt. In beide gevallen laten onze museumdocenten zien hoe ‘beeld’ in nazi-Duitsland werd\
|
||
\ ingezet om kinderen te doordringen van een verderfelijke ideologie die miljoenen het leven zou kosten. \n\nAan\
|
||
\ de hand van uniek historisch beeldmateriaal en onder leiding van onze museumdocenten gaan uw leerlingen vervolgens\
|
||
\ aan de slag met het maken van beeldanalyses. \n\nResultaat\nMet het doorlopen van dit programma zijn uw leerlingen\
|
||
\ flink op weg in het ontwikkelen van hun beeldgeletterdheid. Ze zijn weerbaarder tegen beïnvloeding door fake news en\
|
||
\ informatiebubbels en kunnen beargumenteren hoe beelden hun proberen te beïnvloeden. Om deze vaardigheden verder te\
