text: 'Een bijzondere plek die je even stil doet staan bij het verleden. Het Bunkermuseum
|
||
Ameland is klein, eenvoudig en onbemand — maar juist dat maakt het zo indrukwekkend.
|
||
Je betaalt een kleine bijdrage bij het poortje (vertrouwen op eerlijke betaling,
|
||
wat op zich al iets zegt over de sfeer van het eiland) en daarna heb je alle
|
||
tijd om het museum in je eigen tempo te ontdekken.
|
||
|
||
|
||
De bunkers geven een indringend beeld van de Tweede Wereldoorlog en hoe die
|
||
ook op Ameland voelbaar was. Ondanks de beperkte grootte van het museum, spreekt
|
||
de locatie en de inrichting enorm tot de verbeelding. Je voelt de geschiedenis
|
||
in de muren.
|
||
|
||
|
||
Geen moderne snufjes of interactieve schermen, maar pure, rauwe geschiedenis.
|
||
En dat werkt. Een absolute aanrader voor wie interesse heeft in de oorlogsgeschiedenis,
|
||
of gewoon een moment van bezinning zoekt tijdens een verblijf op Ameland.'

text: Bij binnenkomst kom je eerst in een klein museum terecht, wat ik persoonlijk

||
al de moeite waard vond. Verschillende bodemvondsten in de vitrine hier oa te
|
||
bewonderen. Daarna ga je door een deur en wordt je geleid naar de voormalige
|
||
keuken bunker van de stelling Ameland. In de bunker is een mooie diorama, 2
|
||
films, en 3 verschillende verhalen kan je ook nog beluisteren. 1 van de films
|
||
draaiden ze ook nog op 3 verschillende muren tegelijkertijd. Je beleefd hier
|
||
de oorlog dus best heftig. Zeer goed belicht ook dit verhaal van Ameland in
|
||
de oorlog. Voor iemand zoals mij met een grote passie voor de tweede wereldoorlog
|
||
was dit echt de moeite waard. Voor de mensen die dit op hebben gezet een dikke
|
||
pluim hoor 👌 De 3,50 vond ook helemaal de moeite waard
