Klein, maar fijn museum in een aansprekend pand;
|
||
Mooie collectie, prima toegelicht qua dosering info (wie meer info wil koopt een boek of googelt verder 😉);

Aardige medewerkers;

Prima bakkie koffie (zat bij ons bezoek MJK in), aanrader is appeltaart of boterkoek (van patisserie van Woerekom, die zit om de hoek op de Frederik vd Paltshof);
|
||
Er is een lift en 1 gehandicapten parkeerplaats recht voor de deur;
|
||
|
||
Na jaren me voorgenomen te hebben er ooit eens naar toe te gaan kwam het er vandaag dan van.
|
||
Geboren in Achterberg, een oma die in Rhenen woonde en waar ik elk weekend was, en soms ook veel vaker;
|
||
De Greb', Ouwehand, de militaire ere begraafplaats,de Cuneratoren (en het verhaal over Cunera), het is altijd van betekenis gebleven.
|
||
Zeker nu mijn vader er niet meer is (een brok oral history wat betreft Achterberg en de oorlogsjaren) en ik ook de boeken van Rhenen, die mijn moeder bijeen verzamelde, mocht erven.
|
||

||
Rhenen, het zit me dieper in mijn ziel dan ik had gedacht.....

text: Vandaag naar het Stadsmuseum Rhenen geweest. We gingen voor de expositie ‘Het Raadsel van de Rijnpoort’, maar er
|
||
is veel meer te bekijken en niet op de laatste plaats het oude Gemeentehuis waar ze nu in zitten. En dan die tuin! Geweldig.
|
||
De volgende keer kom ik beslist op een stralende dag. Na afloop van het museum wordt je getrakteerd op een kopje koffie
|
||
of thee met een lekkere koek erbij. Het is echt meer dan de moeite waard om er eens heen te gaan.
