Verbonden met de Protestantse Kerk in Nederland onderzoeken wij de bijdrage van Schrift, christelijke tradities en geloofspraktijken aan het vinden van zin, gerechtigheid en heil. Vanuit deze bezieling leiden wij mensen op tot theoloog in de rol van gemeentepredikant, geestelijk verzorger, academisch onderzoeker of theologisch ondernemer. Het onderwijs aan de PThU is uitdagend en veelzijdig en kent tegelijkertijd de voordelen van kleinschaligheid en een persoonlijke benadering.
