Er wordt een belangrijk verhaal verteld wat helaas steeds actueler lijkt te worden, nee, wordt. Het gebeurt al. Het verhaal van Nieuwlande en omgeving laat zien dat er gelukkig ook veel mensen zijn die de juiste keuze maakten.
|
||
Mooi was ook om te zien dat mijn grootouders, die ik nooit gekend heb, tot die groep behoorden en dat hun verhaal daar ook te lezen is.

text: Prachtig museum met zeer vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouwen. In z'n eenvoud

een erg indrukwekkende voorstelling van het dorp met z'n omgeving inzake de
|
||
onderduikers in WO II. Veel info 1e hand, veel vrijwilligers heen familie die
|
||
onderduikers hebben gehad. Een ZEER grote aanrader. Om de hoek een Vad Yahsem
|
||
monument.

||
De rondwandeling met een gids gedaan en een schuilhol bezocht. De gids vertelde allerlei weetjes en feitjes tijdens de wandeling. De wandeling was ongeveer 6,5 km en duurde 2 uur en 3 kwartier. Een flesje water wordt uitgereikt aan de wandelaar.

Het museum is klein maar erg mooi ingericht. De mensen die werken in en voor het museum zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het zijn allemaal vrijwilligers.
|
||
|
||
Een aanrader en iets wat zeker in stand gehouden moet worden. Zeker in deze turbulente tijden.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de vrijwilligers die dit met hart en ziel beheren.
|
||
Wij zijn erg onder de indruk van de verhalen en ik ben erg "blij" dat er ook aandacht is voor de periode na de bevrijding. De film over de kinderen van Johannes Post maakte ook veel indruk.

Alles netjes verzorgd. En rolstoelvriendelijk.
