Sadly a school was using the theatre, maybe that is where the history of motion

and sound in Australia would’ve been explained to us otherwise there wasn’t

anything .

The art deco Building is the highlight.'

text: 'The NFSA is located in a beautiful building that shows off the history
of Australian film and television. Despite the size and beauty of the NFSA there
isn''t actually a huge amount to see or do. The best part is you can spend probably
5-10 minutes in the archive (pictured) looking at some really interesting artefacts
and read their history. Otherwise there''s the old and new theatres that play
various films/documentaries on related topics but you''d need to check the times
if you want to enjoy them in full.
It''s great that entry is free and the staff I met were all super friendly and
helpful with any questions I had.
It''s perfect for a quick drop in, but don''t plan your whole day around it.'

text: 'Dropped in to see the Inferno exhibition yesterday.

What a beautiful building, amazing atmosphere. I could have spent a lot more
time just examining the details in the building and its history from its'' former
life.

The current displays are super fun, the library room in particular.

As for Inferno - a provactive, beautiful, experience. I am still processing

and will go back again. I recommend immersing yourself in this experience while

it is on.'

Mark Tully is on a mission to protect the endangered chickens that saved his

life. The Queensland rare-chicken breeder credits the birds with helping him

overcome his depression. He sets out on an epic chicken chase to find at-risk

poultry breeds before they disappear forever. Travelling 10,000 kilometres across

five states, along the way he connects with other Australians who share his

One of Australia’s major surviving silent films, THE CHEATERS was made by the

McDonagh sisters, the first women to own and operate a production company in

this country. Their third feature is a suspenseful melodrama inspired by popular

American and German films of the 1920s. Isabel McDonagh (billed as Marie Lorraine)

plays Paula Marsh, a professional thief who falls in love with the adopted son

has an unexpected cost. Internationally acclaimed children’s book author and

Olegas Truchanas and Peter Dombrovskis were two of Australia’s greatest wilderness
