for free. You can climb up to the cab/footplate and get an idea of the cramped

and probably oily workplace of the driver and engineer. You can also enjoy how

little visibility there is.

You can also enter the 1st class carriage being the engine. Overall a great

text: 'Gamagori Museum is a 10-20 minute walk from the south exit of Gamagori
|
||
Station towards the sea. On the day I visited, the "Gamagori Mountain Story"
|
||
was being held, and I heard that the wooden eleven-faced Kannon standing statue
|
||
from Midoyama Kannondo, which I had visited a while ago, was on display, so
|
||
I went there.
|
||
|
||

||
It was great to be able to see the Kannon statue. There were also photos of
|
||
Mikaneyama Amusement Park and Tobone Skyland on display, and I was able to look
|
||
around with nostalgia, thinking about the times when they were like this.

||

||

Another thing that surprised me was the existence of fallen leaf skiing. Apparently
|
||
there was a fallen leaf ski resort in Goi... and it was the first of its kind
|
||
in Japan, so I wondered if it was only for autumn or winter... but it''s not
