\ was born in May 2001 and its first presentation was in August of the same year. This year they are celebrating their20th\
|
||
\ anniversary. They are from a small city called Iquique, in the northern part of Chile, 1800 km from Santiago.\n Al\
|
||
\ Helm Al Arabi in each of its presentations shows us part of the millenary and rich Arab culture, especially the folklore\
|
||
\ of Palestine. Al Helm Al Arabi has performed in different cities throughout Chile and abroad (Peru, Bolivia and Cuba),\
|
||
\ their presence is required in cultural meetings, international fairs, dance festivals, galas, congresses, etc.\nIts\
|
||
\ director is Mr. George el Alam, son of George Salem El Alam Quesieh (RIP) born in Beit Jala, who instilled the roots\
|
||
\ of the Palestinian homeland in his entire family and community. One of the main characteristics of our group is its\
|
||
\ family character, parents, children and grandchildren share their heritage, whether they are descendants or sympathizers\
|
||
