    text: 'Er wordt op een genealogiegroep op Facebook geklaagd over de slechte bereikbaarheid en dienstverlening van deze
      archiefdienst. Degene die de telefoon van ''14010'' opneemt werkt thuis en kan of wil een beller niet doorverbinden,
      laat staan vragen beantwoorden.

      Citaat: ''Het Schiedams Archief heeft een moderne website, genaamd SchiedamGen, waar je, na een simpele registratie,
      gedigitaliseerde documenten kunt inzien. Met een prima en snelle zoekfunctie heb je de gezochte geboorte- of overlijdensakte
      zo in beeld en gedownload. Maar dan, Ik beschouw het als niet meer dan normaal, dat ik bij een akte die ik in mijn onderzoek
      wil gebruiken, de brongegevens vermeld, je weet wel; archiefnaam, toegangsnr, inventarisnr enz. Gewoon, het adres van
      het originele document. Die staan er in SchiedamGen niet bij.

      Geen nood, ik bel ze wel even....dacht ik. Het archief heeft schijnbaar geen eigen telefoonnummer, maar het gemeentehuis
      vast wel...mmm, ook niet, nou ja, er bestaat een landelijk telefoonnummer via welk gemeentes te bereiken zijn. 14010
      gebeld, jaja, de techniek staat voor niets tegenwoordig...En ja hoor, een vriendelijk stem op een bandje vraagt me de
      naam van de gewenste gemeente in te spreken, waarna de telefoon overgaat...een wat minder vriendelijke stem van een
      echt persoon -denk ik- reageert; Persoon X: "gemeente Schiedam, met persoon X, wat kan ik voor u doen?" Ik: Goedendag,
      met persoon Y, kunt u mij verbinden met het gemeentearchief? Persoon X: even stilte en dan; "nee dat gaat niet, waarvoor
      wilt u dat?" Persoon Y: Ik heb enkele vragen voor het archief. Waarom kunt u mij niet doorverbinden?" Persoon X: "ik
      werk vanuit huis en kan u daarom niet doorverbinden."

      Eventjes tussendoor; als je werkt vanuit huis en je doet je werk niet, dan heb je toch gewoon een vrije dag of je bent
      ziek of zie ik dat verkeerd?

      Nou ja, het kwam erop neer dat persoon X mij ook geen telefoonnummer kon geven van het archief omdat...geen idee. Persoon
      X werd wat kregelig omdat ik steeds lacheriger werd en uiteindelijk hebben we het gesprek maar beëindigd. ...

      Vandaag, mail verstuurd:  "is daar iemand die mijn vragen kan beantwoorden?"

      Morgen, antwoord: "Ja."

      Overmorgen, verstuurd: "Waar kan ik de brongegevens van document X vinden?"

      De dag daarna ontvangen: "Hoe bedoelt u? "

      Dezelfde dag verstuurd: (in gedachten: nee hè...met nog wat gedachten die ik hier niet zal delen...) "ik bedoel de adressering
      van document X, een document dat jullie ter beschikking stellen, waarvan ik graag wil weten waar ik de brongegevens
      ervan kan vinden!"

      De volgende dag ontvangen: "Oh, dat weet ik niet, dat moet ik even navragen. Kunt u morgen even bellen, dat is wat eenvoudiger"
